I'm so excited that I was recently given the opportunity to be a part of Cory Johnn Photography's ongoing project, The Original Self (www.theoriginalself.com).
I've been following this talented local's photography for a while, drawn particularly to his breathtaking nature scenes like the one below.
When he contacted me about this project, I decided it was worth it to step out of my comfort zone and have a complete stranger take my picture and ask about my business venture. We had a little photo session at a nearby Starbucks, where I shamelessly busted out my large cone of Mama Knows Clips and Crochet merino wool I've been working with. Soft as clouds, my friends, soft as clouds.
And of course, because nature is my everything, we hunted for a quieted wooded area to finish the rest of the session. We ended up stumbling upon the perfect spot, just outside the hustle and bustle of Edmonton. It was lovely to say the least, and the golden hour made it that much better.
Please take a moment to check out the project as a whole, because there's a plethora of interesting individuals (plus my blushing face) with good stories, all fabulously captured!
