"In the depths of winter, I finally learned that within me there lay an invincible summer." - Albert Camus.
Words I try to keep in mind on days when I'm feeling bogged down by the weight of the world. We all have moments when we feel discouraged or even defeated by life's challenges and curveballs, whether personally, professionally or creatively, but we also all have the ability to overcome and kick some serious butt!
Between work + a couple of very time-consuming projects I've been plugging away at (eep), I haven't picked up my yarn much at all the last few weeks. I did however manage to finally finish this shell stitch cocoon sweater, which I started attempting last April and have since failed miserably at many (many) times. It still needs a little tweaking, but I'm happy to have at least achieved a wearable cocoon!
Pattern to come eventually, when I'm completely happy with the design, it's just not there quite yet. (Also big thank you to @crochet_gallery for rescuing me from maker insanity and answering my desperate cries for cocoon help).
